Guy Stuff at Guys Clubhouse

I’ve almost finished the Shop Smith. I am missing a few parts which I’ll be picking up as soon as I have time, but I thought I’d post some pics of it anyway. Here you’ll see it set up in it’s different configurations except for the lathe. I’ve had it fired up and must say I’m quite happy. It’s running like new! I was also pleased to see it has a 5/8 arbor, meaning I can run out to any guy stuff store, and pick up a new blade for $25.00 or so! I may wet sand the table to get some shallow scratches out, but that won’t be until spring and really isn’t important anyway. So take a peek at my 1951 ShopSmith, I’m quite proud of my new baby, and will update the gallery once I have the other parts.
